Death Caring - October 26, 2022 at 7:00 pm

Updated: Sep 30, 2022

Sue Phillips is a passionate speaker and an end of life doula. Practicing the ancient and recently contemporary role as a death doula, she supports the entire circle of care which promotes education, advocacy, and empowerment at end of life.

Outside of traditional health care institutions, death doulas act as a secular guide and support through all of the end of life phases through love, vigil, loss, grief, bereavement, forgiveness and much more.

In her work Sue advocates for open and honest discussions and offers support in creating a peaceful and respectful end of life for ourselves and those we love and serve.

It is hoped that this session will spark future conversations about our role as Humanists at the end of life and the accompanying ceremonies.
