The Book Exchange is a casual bi-monthly chat about books. Share what you're reading, what you've just finished, or what you're obsessing over at the moment. Each session will have a suggested theme. However, all books are welcome!
We meet bi-monthly on the last Sunday of the month at 10 am (EST) on Zoom. The next Book Exchange is on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

Members met virtually for the second time on Sunday, November 30, 2025. The suggested theme for November was resonance. OHS members shared that they don't have a preference between biographies and autobiographies, but writing quality and narrator reliability matter.
Nonfiction book topics ranged from probability statistics and the mega-yacht rich to raising a hare. Fiction titles covered life regrets and what it means to be human to a collection of sci-fi, fantasy short stories that incorporate Chinese culture. Check out all the book titles discussed (and the titles mentioned but not discussed)!
Non-Fiction:
> Struck By Lightning (Jeffrey S. Rosenthal)
> The Haves and Have-Yachts (Evan Osnos)
