Guest Speaker: Kerstine Franklin, Registered Psychotherapist speaking on LGBTQ

Kersty Franklin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Counseling, and a Doctoral Degree in Human Sexuality.  

She is a certified sex therapist, a registered psychotherapist specializing in couples counseling, and an expert in working with families with addictions and trauma.  Her work with the LGBTQ community includes running support groups for youth, and helping young trans folk access medical care and support as they seek gender affirmation and parity.  She has been a leader for Ethical Loving groups for a number of years, and believes a sex positive viewpoint is integral to who she is.    

She speaks to groups on a wide variety of topics, and has entertained audiences across the U.S. and Canada with her humour and passion about life, the universe, and well, just about everything in between.
